The Holy Trinity Blog
The final week of Lent leads us forward to the thresshold of the Passion. Jesus is the centre of unity for the whole family of God. Face to face with the hour of his passion. Jesus does not shrink, but carries out the will of his Father – this is why he is glorified. Through Jesus, God has made a new covenant with the human race, and so he is ‘the source of eternal life and salvation for all who obey him’ in faith.

Mothering Sunday also reminds us that Family is important and that as well as Mothers we must think about the whole family because without the whole family it would be very hard to receive the nurturing, protection, love, sacrifice and guidance that we need to become the people we are meant to be.

His words of reassurance to Jesus were rebuked. This rebuke is a stark reminder to us all that to be true followers of Jesus we need to take up our cross and follow him.
