Crew, partners, families and pets gathered at the lifeboat station last night for the presentation of King’s Coronation Medals Award to recognise the dedication and commitment to saving lives at sea.![]()
Our honoured crew were those who had completed more than 5 years’ service and were serving on 6th May 2023, when King Charles III and Queen Camilla were crowned.![]()
We had the pleasure of Di Ludlow presenting this award, who formerly held the RNLI chair at the Ladies Guild and is the widow of the late station Chairman Bill Ludlow. ![]()
Many thanks to all who attended, it was great to see our lot be celebrated for their hard work.![]()
