Remembrance Sunday 2020

On Sunday the 8th November the nation commerates the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two world wars and later conflicts. This year because of the Covid pandemic people are being asked to stay at home instead of attending large commeration events in towns and cities. People are being asked to stay at home and stand on thier doorsteps at 11am as a mark of remembrance.

There is no service at Holy Trinity. However, there will be a Requiem Eucharist followed by an ACT OF REMEMBRANCE at the church war memorial ALL ON LINE.

This service can be found and viewed on the church website www.holytrinityweymouth.org or can be watched via our Youtube and Facebook channels.

For the Fallen, Laurence Binyon

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.
