Bluebell time for the Strollers
The Strollers walk from Athelhampton House on Saturday was perfectly timed for the bluebells which were in full bloom in the neighbouring woods.
Although the temperature was certainly more like March than May we escaped the mud of our last month’s walk, though we couldn’t miss the terrible damage done to the paths by 4 x 4s. As usual we finished off the morning with a sociable lunch at the Blue Vinny in Puddletown.
We intend to hire a mini-bus for our next walk on Saturday 19th June which will be based on Beer in Devon, and involve a challenging walk along the coast to Branscombe and back. Please look out for details in the pew sheet and on the notice board in the Organ Transept.
