Treasurer’s Report
I am pleased to report that we have been able to pay in full our Parish Share for 2009, and for the first time for many years we have received more money in than went out.
This is a magnificent achievement but unfortunately there is little room for complacency as various works to the electrics at Holy Trinity, including the installation of a Fire Alarm, must be carried out for safety reasons. These items will cost a lot of money.
Thank you everybody for your support and generosity over the past year which I know you will do your best to continue for 2010.

It doesn’t seem so long ago that I was writing for the parish magazine to tell you a little about your new curate and the rest of the family, before we arrived; now I am writing as we are leaving – my last Sunday with you will be on 12 February and we move a day or two after that.

The Archbishop of Canterbury arrived on pilgrimage on January 27th. Here with a small group of clergy and laity, the Archbishop began his pilgrimage in the Galilee. He also met with the local and regional clergy, heads of churches and a number of important civil leaders at St. Margaret’s Guest House in Nazareth.
