Sudan Cards
Many thanks to you for continuing to buy the Sudan cards in 2009 - despite my disappearance
into the rural wastes of West Dorset!
Nearly 9000 cards were sold in all, and a profit of just over £1400 was raised, well up on the previous year. Judy Why did a great job acting as an “agent” and I hope you will continue to take an interest in 2010. I hope to design some new local cards, and they and others will be available throughout the year, not just in the weeks before Christmas.

It doesn’t seem so long ago that I was writing for the parish magazine to tell you a little about your new curate and the rest of the family, before we arrived; now I am writing as we are leaving – my last Sunday with you will be on 12 February and we move a day or two after that.

The Archbishop of Canterbury arrived on pilgrimage on January 27th. Here with a small group of clergy and laity, the Archbishop began his pilgrimage in the Galilee. He also met with the local and regional clergy, heads of churches and a number of important civil leaders at St. Margaret’s Guest House in Nazareth.
