Wanted – bottles and jars
We are running a bottle and glass jar tombola stall at the Christmas Fayre on 5th December. Please can you help us by donating bottles and jars (e.g. wine, lemonade, jam and preserves etc plus “booby” prizes like water or vinegar) for the stall.
Also if you have empty jars with lids then please let us have them or decorate the jar in some way and put wrapped sweets, cotton wool balls, bubble bath balls or something similar in it for us to use in the tombola. Please give any donations to Alyson Brinsley or Helen Miller.

It doesn’t seem so long ago that I was writing for the parish magazine to tell you a little about your new curate and the rest of the family, before we arrived; now I am writing as we are leaving – my last Sunday with you will be on 12 February and we move a day or two after that.

The Archbishop of Canterbury arrived on pilgrimage on January 27th. Here with a small group of clergy and laity, the Archbishop began his pilgrimage in the Galilee. He also met with the local and regional clergy, heads of churches and a number of important civil leaders at St. Margaret’s Guest House in Nazareth.
