Across the country this Sunday is being kept as a special day to encourage former Churchgoers who, for various reasons, have stopped coming to resume the habit.

The Thursday evening communions will be at St Nicholas from the beginning of September (3rd).

Jack Milverton

On Monday 10th August Jack died after a short illness. He was 94 years old. There will be a full obituary in October’s parish magazine, but I hope I will be permitted a few reflections of my own just before the September magazine goes to press.

Sociable Strollers

The July walk for the Strollers was something of an expedition. A group of just under 30 walkers, including almost the youngest and almost the oldest members of our congregations, set off on the train to Bradford-on-Avon early in the morning, at the start of a most enjoyable day out.
