News from Holy Trinity Primary School & Nursery Unit
Well done and thank you to everyone who played a part in making our first School Garden Open Day so successful. We raised £900 towards the Garden Fund!
It was fantastic to see so many members of our community come and visit the garden and it was great to hear so many positive comments on its progress. We still need some bark chippings to put around the raised beds. Do you have any spare that you would like to donate? Or would you like to buy a bag to donate to the garden? Please let the school office know if you can help us. We are also very grateful to the donation from Holy Trinity Church to the Garden Fund. This money will be spent creating a very special Memory Corner in our garden as a quiet area for small groups of children to sit with an adult. Children who are having difficult times, need counselling and who have experienced bereavement will benefit from having the opportunity to talk about their feelings and reflect in a very special place.
