Peter Dillistone has passed with Distinction the examination for Dean's Award to Choristers on 4 October 2008.

Operation Christmas Child

Holy Trinity School is again supporting the Samaritan’s Purse Charity ‘Operation Christmas Child’ this term. Our pupils have been asked to collect filled shoeboxes which are then distributed to children who otherwise would not receive any gifts at all at Christmas.

Sociable Strollers - October

The Strollers were rewarded with two feasts on their October walk, one visual and one gastronomic. The autumn tints were much in evidence in the countryside around Cerne Abbas and the steep climb (which effectively silenced all conversation for a while) yielded some stunning views of the changing colours.

Darren’s Ordination

The cathedral was packed with relatives, friends and supporters, a wonderful sight. Darren's family were seated at the front of the nave so the children had a great view.

Holy Trinity Primary School

We were delighted to welcome His Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester to our school on Wednesday 17th September. Film coverage of the event is on the plasma screen in the office entrance area and also is on the Dorset Echo website.

Sudan Sponsored Walk with the Sociable Strollers

We were lucky to have good weather for the walk in aid of the Salisbury Diocese Sudan Link on 13th September. Despite some very large puddles we all enjoyed the afternoon.

Harvest Festival

We had a very successful harvest festival this year with a full church at the 10:15 service. Harvest gifts were generously donated by the congregations at Holy Trinity and St.Nicholas and after the service many of them were auctioned for Christian Aid raising a total of £219.
