Sociable Strollers
The full palette of autumn colours was on display in glorious sunshine for the last Strollers walk of the 2007 season.
21 walkers left the Milton Arms car park in Winterbourne Whitechurch for a wonderfully scenic stroll along field paths and through woods, seeing pheasant, deer and other wildlife along the way.
Although muddy in places, the group were undeterred and ploughed manfully on, arriving back at the Milton Arms with appetites sharpened by the exercise, to do full justice to the excellent fare on offer.
If the winter weather is not too severe, we may try to do a walk in the early spring, along dry footpaths rather than cross country, so do keep an eye on the pew sheet for details. We have been delighted to welcome a few new walkers this season, so please consider joining us in 2008 to explore more of the by-ways of our beautiful county.
